Pet Medical Center is a full-service animal hospital offering both emergency care and less urgent medical, surgical, and dental care. We are experienced in all types of conditions and treatments.
We are thrilled to celebrate our 20th anniversary, marking two decades of dedication and service since our doors first opened in 2004. Over the years, we have grown and evolved, always striving to provide the highest level of veterinary care and expertise.
Position Purpose:

Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help have them 'practice ready' by their first day in practice.
Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.
Length of externship is flexible & we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Eligibility
Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
Must be able to provide student PLIT
