Overview
As a veterinarian at Heartland Veterinary Partners, you will provide quality care to patients and empathetic service to clients. You will partner with other veterinarians, technicians, and client service representatives to operate as an efficient and productive team.

Practice:
The Silverthorn Animal Clinic is a full-service animal hospital that takes both emergency and less urgent medical, surgical, and dental issues. Our staff has experience with all types of illnesses and treatments. We make our clinic comfortable, kid-friendly, and a very calm environment for pets, clients, and our team.
We offer specialty care of chiropractic services, holistic services, acupuncture, exotic medicine, reproduction, and stem cell/PRP Prolo Therapy, and ultrasound.
We have a large facility with a spacious treatment area, separate surgical suite, and three wet tables. We love our wonderful atmosphere and team culture. Our team consists of one LVT, multiple technicians, assistants, and CSRs, who are fully utilized to ensure our days operate smoothly and efficiently.

Silverthorn Animal Clinic is looking for a Managing Veterinarian who wants to combine hands-on patient care with meaningful leadership. This is an opportunity to mentor fellow doctors, help shape medical excellence, and build a positive team culture while continuing to do what you do best.
You'll remain actively involved in medicine and surgery while partnering with an experienced support team and leadership that values collaboration, clinical autonomy, and open communication. Our goal is simple: provide exceptional patient care while creating an environment where both people and pets thrive.

Essential Responsibilities:
What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality medical and surgical care, including wellness exams, diagnostics, dentistry, treatment planning, and surgery
- Build lasting client relationships through clear communication, preventive care education, and compassionate end-of-life guidance
- Lead by example while maintaining the highest standards of medical care and ethical practice
- Mentor and support associate veterinarians through collaboration and day-to-day coaching
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on exceptional patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and medical protocols
Requirements/Qualifications:
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited program
- Experience with reproductive surgery, including C-sections, required
- Active Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and assist with larger patients or equipment as needed

Pay Range:
USD $130,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.Success Profile
