Committed to excellence, we provide comprehensive veterinary services, from routine check-ups to advanced medical care.

Position Purpose:

Associate Veterinarian – Salina Veterinary Hospital | Salina, KS

As a trusted full-service hospital, we’re passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care for our beloved patients—and we’re looking for an equally dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team!

Whether it’s routine wellness, complex medical treatment, or a day of pampering in our grooming suite, we’re here for every step of the pet care journey. We focus on treating small animals (primarily dogs and cats), always prioritizing the human-animal bond that makes our work so rewarding.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough exams and diagnose illnesses and injuries in companion animals

  • Utilize diagnostic equipment and interpret results to guide treatment plans

  • Advise pet parents on preventative care and treatment options

  • Perform surgical procedures and prescribe medications

  • Provide compassionate end-of-life care guidance

  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records

  • Uphold the highest standards of veterinary ethics and protocols

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • DVM or equivalent degree from an AVMA-accredited institution

  • Current Kansas state veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain)

  • DEA/BNDD eligibility

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A collaborative spirit and commitment to client service

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted (or more with assistance)

Pay Range: $ USD $100,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.
