Overview
As a veterinarian at Heartland Veterinary Partners, you will provide quality care to patients and empathetic service to clients. You will partner with other veterinarians, technicians, and client service representatives to operate as an efficient and productive team.

As a veterinarian and boarding facility, All Creatures Veterinary Clinic & Lodge provides a diverse blend of exceptional veterinary and pet services to meet your pet’s needs. We proudly welcome dogs, cats, pocket pets, and other exotic pets to our AAHA accredited veterinary hospital.
You’ll find our clinics, conveniently located in Wayne and Medina counties, provide easy access to clients and their pets from all surrounding cities of Rittman, Wadsworth, and Sterling, OH. If your pet has fur, feathers, or scales, we welcome them as members of our own pet family, treating them with gentleness and compassion, combined with comprehensive veterinary medical services.

All Creatures Veterinary Clinic is excited to welcome a compassionate Associate Veterinarian to our close-knit, highly respected team in Rittman, OH. A Supportive & Efficient Workday
Approximately 20 appointments per day
Separate tech column with assigned assistants
Dedicated emergency blocks and drop-off appointments as needed
Closed daily from 12–2 PM (lobby remains open)
Flexible surgery scheduling, including full surgery days or procedures after appointments
Credentialed technicians manage anesthesia
Medicine & Surgery
Preventive care, internal medicine, dentistry, and soft-tissue surgery
TPLO performed in-house with mentorship available
Dental-forward practice with full-mouth digital dental radiographs included with every dental
Surgical laser, ultrasound (including handheld), and visiting referral specialists for advanced procedures
Modern Facility & Equipment
Five exam rooms plus a dedicated comfort/euthanasia room, all with lift tables
Digital full-body radiology and digital dental radiographs
In-house Idexx lab and reference labs
Dedicated radiology room and efficient treatment area
Private office space for doctors
Who We’re Looking For
A veterinarian who values teamwork, kindness, and high-quality medicine
New graduates eager for mentorship and confidence-building support
Experienced DVMs interested in dentistry, surgery, or mentoring
Someone seeking a long-term home with a stable, respected practice
Essential Responsibilities:
- Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
- Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.
- Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
- Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
- Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
- Maintain patients’ medical records.
- Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- DVM/VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
- Appropriate state licensure.
- Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.
- Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.

Pay Range:
USD $125,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.Success Profile
