As a veterinarian at Heartland Veterinary Partners, you will provide quality care to patients and empathetic service to clients. You will partner with other veterinarians, technicians, and client service representatives to operate as an efficient and productive team.

Zero overnight shifts and a strong referral network for specialized care

Examine, diagnose, and treat dogs and cats with care and precision
Perform surgeries and dental procedures (if desired—we’re flexible!)
Collaborate with clients on treatment plans, preventative care, and nutrition
Guide pet owners through end-of-life decisions with compassion
Maintain accurate medical records and uphold the highest standards in veterinary care
Holds a DVM or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited institution
Is licensed (or eligible) to practice in Florida
Is DEA license-eligible
Has excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude
Brings compassion, integrity, and enthusiasm to the exam room every day
- Is able to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds independently, and over 25 pounds with assistance
