Overview
As a veterinarian at Heartland Veterinary Partners, you will provide quality care to patients and empathetic service to clients. You will partner with other veterinarians, technicians, and client service representatives to operate as an efficient and productive team.

Independence Animal Hospital is proud to serve the Independence, KS area for everything pet-related.
Our practice is a full-service mixed-animal hospital and will see routine appointments, surgical cases as well as offer acupuncture services. Our in-house capabilities include digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, cold laser, indoor stocks, outdoor pen area, hydraulic tilt chute, and an OB chute.
Our doctors are supported by our experienced credentialed technicians, assistants, and practice manager.

Independence Animal Hospital, a welcoming and well-established two-doctor team, is seeking a full or part time Associate Veterinarian to dive into both companion and farm animal medicine. Founded in 1975 and going strong,Independence Animal Hospital has earned its spot as a trusted name in mixed-animal medicine throughout Southeast Kansas. We provide comprehensive care for pets, livestock, and exotics with compassion and cutting-edge tools. Our clients know us for our thorough, honest care, and our ability to treat everything from a golden retriever to a goat with the same level of dedication.
Our services include:
Preventive and emergency care
Digital radiography & dental X-ray
In-house lab and pharmacy
Ultrasound and cold laser therapy
Indoor stocks, outdoor pen, OB and hydraulic tilt chutes
Boarding, dental, and surgical care
And yes—we do acupuncture, too!
Hours of operation: Monday-Friday 7:30am - 5:30pm, closed on weekends (with after-hours emergency referral partners available)
What we are looking for
- A DVM (or soon-to-be grad) with a valid license to practice in Kansas
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- A love for client education and animal medicine
- An eagerness to make an impact in a close-knit, community-oriented clinic
- Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients

USD $90,000.00 - USD $100,000.00 /Yr.Success Profile
