Overview

As a veterinarian at Heartland Veterinary Partners, you will provide quality care to patients and empathetic service to clients. You will partner with other veterinarians, technicians, and client service representatives to operate as an efficient and productive team.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Your Day-to-Day:

    • Perform comprehensive exams and diagnostics for companion animals

    • Create and implement tailored treatment plans using in-house diagnostic tools

    • Perform routine surgeries and dental procedures

    • Educate and support pet parents through every stage of care

    • Collaborate with a skilled team to provide compassionate, gold-standard medicine

    • Maintain accurate and timely medical records

    • Embrace and uphold our culture of ethics, respect, and excellence

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • What You Bring to the Table:

    ✔ Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited school
    ✔ Licensed (or eligible to become licensed) to practice in Florida
    ✔ DEA/BNDD eligible
    ✔ A collaborative spirit and a passion for patient care
    ✔ Strong communication skills — with both two-legged and four-legged clients!
    ✔ Ability to lift up to 25 lbs independently (and more with a teammate’s help)
