Practice:

The Cat Clinic of Destin is a full-service, feline-only veterinary hospital offering comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. We serve clients from the entire Emerald Coast region including Okaloosa and Walton County.

We've provided advanced diagnostic procedures with our digital radiology, ultrasound, and in-house state-of-the-art laboratory since April of 2000.

Position Purpose:

Associate Veterinarian – Feline-Only Practice

Love cats more than most people? (We won’t tell.) The Cat Clinic of Destin is on the prowl for a compassionate, skilled, and cat-obsessed Associate Veterinarian to join our whisker-loving team right here on the stunning Emerald Coast.

Since 2000, we’ve been the go-to feline-only hospital in the region, delivering top-notch medical, surgical, and dental care. With cutting-edge tools like digital radiology, ultrasound, and our in-house state-of-the-art lab, we make practicing medicine a joy. But here’s our secret ingredient: we know cats—and their humans—deserve a different kind of veterinary experience. One that’s calm, cozy, and full of love (with just the right amount of cattitude).

Essential Responsibilities:

    • Deliver exceptional feline care by examining and treating patients for illness or injury.

    • Put your diagnostic skills to work with advanced equipment and lab capabilities.

    • Educate and guide cat parents with warmth and expertise on preventative care and treatment plans.

    • Perform surgical procedures and prescribe medications as needed.

    • Provide compassionate end-of-life care when it matters most.

    • Keep medical records as polished as your bedside manner.

    • Uphold veterinary ethics and clinic protocols with integrity.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Requirements/Qualifications

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited AVMA institution.

    • State licensure (or eligibility to obtain).

    • DEA/BNDD eligibility.

    • Strong communication skills with a knack for connecting with clients.

    • Professional, positive, and collaborative attitude (bonus points if you speak fluent “meow”).

    • Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 lbs; heavier loads with team assistance.
