We are a full-service veterinary clinic located in Corbin, Kentucky, and we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, compassionate care to dogs and cats throughout the region. Ourteamhelps pet parents provide the necessary care to help animals live long, healthy lives with their owners.

We’re committed to making sure pet owners are well-informed about their pets’ health. That includes potential problems that may develop down the road, as well as, options for treatments of medical conditions.

Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help have them 'practice ready' by their first day in practice. 

Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.

Length of externship is flexible & we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Eligibility

Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School

Must be able to provide student PLIT
