Position Purpose
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Specialist to join our team. This position focuses on evaluating and optimizing pricing strategies for veterinary practices, including online pharmacy/home delivery platforms, laboratory services, and clinical services and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of veterinary business operations, data analysis, and market trends to help drive profitability while maintaining client satisfaction. This is a full-time remote role.

- Pricing Strategy Development:
- Analyze current pricing structures for online pharmacy, laboratory services, and clinical procedures.
- Develop data-driven pricing strategies to optimize revenue and align with market trends.
- Utilize value-based pricing strategies to optimize practice pricing
- Collaborate with leadership to implement pricing adjustments that support practice goals.
- Market Research:
- Conduct competitive market analysis to benchmark service and product pricing.
- Monitor trends in the veterinary industry to identify opportunities for pricing enhancements.
- Financial Analysis:
- Assess the financial impact of pricing changes on practice revenue and profitability.
- Track performance metrics and provide regular reports to leadership.
- Identify underperforming services/products and recommend strategies for improvement.
- Client Impact Assessment:
- Evaluate the client experience and potential impacts of pricing adjustments.
- Work closely with the practice team to develop strategies that enhance customer satisfaction.
- Compliance and Policy Adherence:
- Ensure pricing complies with industry regulations and standards.
- Maintain transparency and ethical practices in all pricing strategies.
- Collaboration:
- Partner with practice teams and field leaders to align pricing with clinical priorities and operational goals.
- Work with marketing teams to communicate pricing updates effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Veterinary Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pricing analysis, financial modeling, or business operations in the veterinary or healthcare industry.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or financial software.
- Ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
