Essential Responsibilities:

Reporting into the Director of Compensation and Benefits, the Payroll Manager will process and manage payroll for the entire organization. The Manager leads a team of four payroll specialists to ensure timely, accurate, and legal distribution of team member pay while ensuring quality partnership services. This is an in-office position and interested candidates must be able to regularly commute to our offices in Chicago, IL.

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Manage a team of four payroll specialists.
  • Manage the entire payroll processing function for approximately 5,000 employees on a bi-monthly payroll.
  • Manage ADP Workforce Now to ensure system functions properly and work with ADP account manager on any issues that may occur.
  • Ensure accurate information is entered into ADP, as well as third party web portals.
  • Ensure all data in ADP and third-party web portals are up to date, account for all changes in status.
  • Ensure tax filings and other government filings are completed and accurate.
  • Work with integrations team to help answer any questions related to payroll.
  • Work with Payables to ensure processing on any off-cycle pay.
  • Work with HR team to make sure new hires are being entered in a timely basis along with I-9 management.
  • Work with Operations team to train newly hired Practice Managers on Payroll processes.
  • Manage 401K audits and work comp audits.
  • Manage 1094 and 1095 reporting, completed by ADP.
  • Ensure W-2’s are reported and distributed correctly, completed by ADP.
  • Ad hoc reporting.
  • All other appropriate duties as required by the Director of Compensation and Benefits.

Pay Range: $ USD $100,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.
