Essential Responsibilities:
What You’ll Be Doing
Perform comprehensive exams and develop diagnostic and treatment plans for small animal patients
Interpret diagnostic tests including in-house lab work, cytology, and imaging
Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures based on your skill level
Provide dental care, including cleanings and extractions
Educate clients on preventative care, treatment options, and long-term wellness plans
Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Collaborate with vet technicians and support staff to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care
Uphold medical standards, ethics, and hospital protocols
Requirements/Qualifications:
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
Active (or eligible for) Georgia veterinary license
Open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates
Comfortable practicing small animal medicine; surgical and dental experience preferred, or willingness to grow those skills
Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
Commitment to maintaining high medical standards and continuing professional development
