Externship
Advanced Pet Care of Sedaliais a modern, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care – including digital dental x-rays.
We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, an in-hospital laser-equipped surgery suite, in-house digital X-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor kennels with outdoor walking areas.

Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help have them 'practice ready' by their first day in practice.
Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.
Length of externship is flexible & we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
Requirements/Qualifications:Eligibility
Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
Must be able to provide student PLIT
